Just had my car scanned by VAG COM
« on: 24 May 2010, 20:36 »
Hope you guys can help:

I've had the engine light on my mk5 TDi 140bhp for a while now.  Had the EGR valve replaced about a month or two back but it still lacks tht kick.  The guy that replaced it told me that hte engine light wouldn't go off as I now need a new throttle body.  Is what he said true judging by the below log?

My EGR valve was replaced about a month or so back.....is that showing at fault?

The fault code I was receiving prior to the replacement of the EGR valve was:

19559 motor for intake manifold flap v157 malfunction P3103

Did he clear the codes??  Did they come straight back if they did?

I've fitted a new Fuse in the F8 slot as it was blown.  Yet to clear the codes but should I notice a difference?

Just had my throttle boddy (IMF) replaced.  Will now replace the F8 fuse and clear codes and report my findings soon.  So that's a new throttle body, relatively new EGR and a new fuse.  Hopefully the engine management light disappears for good!
