So, today was the day that I used my MACHINE to do a bit/lot of detailing.

As advised, I got a scrap bonnet from the scrappys and had a good play with it over the weekend, and felt pretty confident :smug:

So, what did I use?

Billberrys Wheel Cleaner
Megs 2.0NXT Wax
Dodo Blue Velvet
Dodo Purple Haze
Megs Detailer & Clay Bar
Megs Gold Class Trim Detailer
Megs Cleaner Wax
Megs Mirror Glaze #7
Megs Soft Wash Gel
Megs Gold Class Endurance Tyre Gel
Menzerno Final Finish
Silverline Multi Speed Polisher
Red Sponge Head
White Sponge Head
Blue Sponge head
Lambs Wool Head
Wash Mit
6x Megs Micro Fibre Towels
10x Cotton Buds
Hoover
2x Buckets

So this is how the car started....

So after a wash and clay and wash again, I could start

So, I put a small amount of the Menzerno onto the white sponge, set the machine to number '2' and dabbed onto the bonnet of the car, then, started the machine up, and did a side to side/back and forth motion until the compound looked like it was breaking down, I shoud've gone up to speed 5 according to the bottle, but if I'm honest, I was bloody scared
Anyway, I the whole bonnet, then buffed up by hand with a Microfibre cloth, and repeated the process with the whole car.
Then I attached the the Blue Sponge to the machine, and repeated the whole process but this time using the Megs Mirror Glaze #7.

I then put the car out onto the flat, and took the wheels off and repainted the callipers, thought I'd got for Gold this time, and bunged some Porsche decals on them for good measure....
Billberrys with a good wheel brush first, then a rinse, then a dry. I then put 3 coats of Megs 2.0NXT Wax to seal them, then finally used the Megs Gold Class Endurance Tyre Gel on each tyre, with a buff after about 1/2hr. I also painted my wheel nuts gold to match the callipers

Once everything was dry, They all went back on

I then wheeled the car back out of the sunlight, I used a Lambswool head on the machine next. Dodo Blue Velvet was dabbed on, and machined on the roof and bonnet, then buffed up with a second Lambswool head. The process was repeated with the doors and wings, but I used Dodo Purple haze for these

Then I used my Megs Gold Class Trim Detailer to do all the black plastic outside and inside the car (after I took the detailing tape off)

I'll finish the post with some more pics after the footy.........

Please, leave any feed back with what I'm doing wrong thus far, cheers for now!!

So heres some pics of the interior after a good hoover and polish up, along with the seats being washed

Then finally, a good buff all over with a new Lambswool head

So, what I'm after chaps is some direction please :undecided: Have I done this all wrong? Is the order that I've done it in ok? What about the products that I've used? Any help would be really grateful. I know I'm going to get alot of stick about the Gold Callipers/Porsche Decals, but hey, thats my preferance

Still, everything will be taken onboard

Cheers for looking
Toby

Looks ultra shiny. Love the colour of the rims.

However, Porsche stickers on the calipers

edit - just read your closing statement, fair enough
