You were not agressive at all. Promise.
I am having the oil + filter change this Saturday. Using my own oil Motul Specific 504 00 5W30 and so I just pay for labour, filter and plug (not butt!). VW charge approx £14 per litre for their oil and the car requires 4.7 litres. I bought the Motul for just shy of £45 for 5 litres which makes it £9 per litre.
Doing the sums: if VW had done the lot it would have cost around £120. They have reduced the overall cost by approx £70 (cost of their oil) which makes it approx £50 for the service. Not bad me thinks.
Therefore, total cost to me is £95 using my own oil.

PS: I will also be pouring 500ml Boron Motor Silk into the engine. :lipsrsealed:
