Are GTI Springs different than Golfs?

I replaced my GTI Springs and am going to be selling them does anyone know if they are different and if so how much lower are they than the regualrs Golfs?

I believe they are 15mm lower and stiffer than the standard springs

They're about 15mm lower than a regular Golf I think, however unless you're desperate for money I would keep them and put the car back to standard when you sell it. You'll still get decent money for your uprated springs when you sell them seperately to the car.

One thing to watch for is that although the springs may physically fit other Golfs, the front axle weights of the cars will be different so the lowering amount on the front and also the handling of the car will be affected. You will be able to see which cars have the same front axle loading as the GTI by finding out which other models your lowering springs have been TUV approved for (should be printed on the box or instructions).

Good points there. Thank you guys I might just hold on to them. I was thinking I would only get at the most 35 for them..

How does it ride?

Have you had the rear tints changed also?

You mean tinted the windows?  The US spec GTIs dont come tinted and I put 5% on the back
