which one o these is it you need, if unsure check old belt it should have the length printed on it somewhere:
2.0 16v 92-95 (-AirCon)         6PK0976         
2.0 16v 96-97 (-AirCon)         6PK1038

The vw belt is 1033mm long on the later engine without aircon and the GSF one is 1038mm long and fits fine.

You'll need to remove the power steering belt so you might as well replace that as well if you don't know how old it is. Only about £3 from GSF for the power steering belt.

PAS belt I did a few months ago so I'll leave that one. I know how to replace the belts so I shouldn't be needing to bother the forum  :tongue:

and i thought this engine was getting stripped, worked, and all new gaskets / belts etc before fitting.

The sump gasket was changed.....Danny did it....Obviously GSF quality shined through though.

solid front mount ftw. i got mine through ebay but i think its the same guy off clubgti. make sure you use LOTS of threadlock or it will fall off! :lipsrsealed: :D :embarassed:

Yeah same guy, I looked him up. I will use plenty of thread lock not to worry. Last thing I want is engine mount coming loose  :grin:
