same codes seem to keep coming back :( looks liek there is a fault in the loom somewhere, lets hope its the bit on the engine rather than the main loom! can you see any areas that look obviously damaged on the main part of the loom? if all else fails may have to unwrap the lot :(

i recommend the rayon cloth loom tape, looks pretty much same as the oem stuff :)

Let me run down to the car and get a few pics of the obvious loom damage, I'll be back with pics in 5 mins.

Here you go RJ. If you need to know what wires are what (location wise) let me know and I'll point them out.

That second and the last pics are of the hall sensor to engine block earth.

not very pretty thats for sure! if i have  aloom i think i'll still need to repair it, i remember looking thru what i had and even the best one needed repairs to the tps wiring as they always bake round the back of the engine. will check what i have in stock anyway

oh, i dont like the look of the earth in the last pic? the metal pipe is preventing a good path to ground as its got powdercoat on it. can you move it to a different hole in the head? the hole just to the left of it looks a good spt, give it a buff up and move it over

All done, let's hope it works this way, I've got a good feeling about it to be honest. As I was working away some tw@t in a 4x4 ripped it past (it's a real slow backroad) and the whole puddle moved from the floor into my trousers and jumper

I've changed into dry clothes now but I'll need to go back to my car most likely so I'll get a pic of the said puddle
