got a few simple jobs sorted this weekend which has cheered me up a bit.

finally managed to get hold of the front door handle covers and a couple of window winders. fitted bulbs in the spot lights. fitted a new rear bumper and straightened up the front.

the mrs has been using the car for the past week so the porsche wheels have been replaced with a pair of steelies ont the front and a pair of for alloys on the back.

my mate is about to scrap his polo with my old g60's on. he said that as long as i left his car legal i could have the wheels back.

fitted them to the golf and they just look wrong in black - i was never a fan ont he track golf either.

decided as it is only temporary to paint them orange. couldnt get any paint so matt aqua it is.

i then gave the car a wash  and headed for the bombercountydubs.co.uk meet in lincoln and totally forgot to get pics. here's a couple from the meet though

not really. i have some vauxhall 15's with winter tyres on the wife's seat. my plan was to swap the winter tyres over to the g60's and put them on the seat.
