Keep the boxter wheels til after new year and I'll by them off you for my neg. I rekon they'd look sweet as in the summer. I'll just not have my car rediculasly low obv.

The wife's seat estate's been out of action for a few days due to a frozen coolant system - silly me.

Anyway i let her have the gti whilst it was getting sorted - thought that would be an incentive for me to get my finger out!

Anyway took her car to my mate's garage tonight and thawed it out. Luckily i've got away with it scott free. Might need a thermostat as it's running a little colder than it did but that's not the end of the world.

Whilst it was thawing out we put my 205 40 tyres off the twists and onto my new boxster wheels.

I was really uncertain about them at first. They don't look too good on the boxster and didn't scream 'porsche' when i picked them up. However my mate convinced me to give them a go and tonight i swapped the tyres over. Straight away they look a million times better. Can't wait for this ice to bugger off and fit them to the car.

The rears are only 8's so the stretch is nothing like as bad as before.

Really excited again. Grainy pics tomorrow. Might even fit them tomorrow, sod the ice
