Well well. I was rummaging through my box of bike bits last night when i stumbled upon a golf ball gear knob. I know caistor is looking for one so i did the decent thing...

Sent him a text message showing said knob. Saying 'look what i found'

Shortly followed by a picture of it on my gear lever!!

Apparently i'm a w+'@€r! !!

Tonight i have mostly been making my car look crap.

Stripped the back end down and replaced the springs with some standard ones. The car is obviously sitting higher, just need to ascertain whether or not the car still squats. Can't see that it will. I've got a bit of money in my gaypal account. Might order some new springs tomorrow. Or coilovers!

not sure really. my dampers are really good and give a firm but comfortable ride. i think i might buy some new springs first and if that fails go to coilies.

anyway, this is how the car sits now...

i will eventually but this will do me for now i think. need the snow to clear to see how it handles! i think its safe to say the rear springs have sagged though
