If I was you mate I wouldn't bother converting to k-jet as it involves pretty much most of what I had to go through converting mine from carb to digi, you'd have to swap ALL your engine loom and believe me its a big ball ache as it all goes through 2 little holes behind the drivers side suspension tower and brake servo. And you won't see any increase in power or reliability realistically. While the K-jet is working, leave it alone
Although all my digi's have proved better on fuel than the old K-jet 
Now then. I'm definately going to be dropping the digi motor in. It was rebuilt and blueprinted a few years ago and pulls like a train. Not silly power (121 at the wheels) but the power curve is a straight line. It is a totally different animal to the current k-jet.
I removed the loom and fuzebox from the old car and it was a pain taking it out. It was the main thing stopping me from refitting it but liam has assured me it'll be a doddle. I take that as volunteering!
