I really like the engine mods, but cant say that the bonnet or wheels are to my taste.  Each to their own though.  If you're liking what you've done, then fair game.  It's a unique car that stands out from the rest of the crowd.

James - where did you get that taxdisc holder?!

its good to see something different penguin

i had a mini cooper before i got my ed30 and have to say I felt the same, the extra power in the golf is great but it doesn't handle anything like what the mini did, hence the lack of excitement and envolvement..  had to spend quite a bit of cash on decent coilovers & anti-roll bars to make my golf perform similarly

in regards to that intake you have - it looks like its the mk5 version you bought.. this is the mk6 version :

the stage 2 kit looks very interesting

happy modding

Everybody to the own , its not my cup, tea hope you enjoy the car

James this road tax reminder , its run out mate

Love your balls Penguin.
I would like to have my roof in a glassy black or better still glassy Hemorite.
Will look great on a Tornado Red car IMO.

The plates are not available  however I thought I had deleted them from the first pic. Can someone confirm if they are still visible or not. Hopefully they are gone.

I've opened up my car to all your views. I honestly don't take offence if folk think I've ruined it. If everyone liked my car then it would kinda suck because then it wouldn't be special to me.

Although some people perhaps thought that the folks ruined the standard family golf in 1975 when they dropped a 1.6 engine into it and created a hot hatch. for others however this motoring evolution led a cult following and... if I'm not mistaken... we are all part of it
