Yeah, but with later golfs they play havoc with the traction control

Daz I wish it was just the rack lol...

TT parts I've fitted: hubs, lower arms, ball joints, steering rack, Roadster solid rear subframe bushes along with a whiteline ARB with poly bushes, Decon style inserts to convert to the smaller front wishbone bush, poly front bush, caster adjustment poly rear bushes, custom made drop links. Had all the tracking set up yesterday with the old skool method of counting threads etc and it feels awesome to drive now.

Dom/Ste - I know it messes with the steering if you have any form of traction control, it's all to do with the steering angle sensor in the column. I would have thought someone would have come up with a solution by now though?

You pretty much have the same setup as me upfront now! Haha
You running poly rack and arb bushes too?
I don't think there is a solution as such but you can delete the traction control altogether like I have.

What's the advantage of the hubs?

I'd love to be in engineering like that!

Looking awesome.

Here you go mate, you can see how much lower the ball joint mount is from the driveshaft position on the TT hub compared to the Golf hub

My lower arms are sitting perfectly horizantal now and the arms have slotted ball joint holes making them camber adjustable to counteract the natural camber you get from lowering. The track rod end mounts are also in a higher position allowing the track rods to be relatively horizontal too

Thanks for the comments people :afro:

TT setup so epic compared to the stock golf one.  Worlds apart in terms of grip and steering response.

Went out for a quick blast on some windy roads last night when I dropped my missus mate home and I'm still really impressed with how planted it feels.

I think I'm going to have to change the ball joints on the drop links for rose joints as the threads are too short to go right through the ARB so I'll get them ordered tomorrow
