Oil gauge works perfectly, a steady 85 degrees while wandering about with no idea where I was going to pick up the water/meth injection kit yesterday :lipsrsealed:

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Fits in there quite nicely. Buggered if it's ever coming out though

Anyways pressed plates ordered so should be here soon, windscreen went on the way to Weymouth last week so I'm £90 poorer too

I've ordered a few bits for the WMI install and eyed up where the pump and tank are going to live and had the inlet sand blasted ready for a coat of satin black.

TT interior light is a go once the LEDs have turned up to fit in like the W8 downlighters and I've got something special happening with my clocks once I find a spare set to chuck in mine so I can send them off to a certain person :afro:

also got this on the go too

picked up this rear beam from my mate for nothing as he was glad to get it out of the way so I'm using it to fit my vRS rear bushes in and also my 256mm rear discs. It needs attacking with a wire wheel to get the flaky paint off but it has good wheel bearings and I'll give it a good few coats of Hammerite. It also lets me take the lip off the splash guards while it's off the car

My new ball joints turned up last week so I got my mate to fit them to cure a nasty grinding/rattling that has appeared and felt like it was coming from that area when the steering was turned...

now all done but the rattling is still there

so a bit of head scratching and poking for a hour about while it was on the ramps and the problem was found. The ball joint bolts are fouling on the brake disc splash guard. My fault for not fitting the 312mm guards when I fitted the discs a while back. This wasn't a problem until I fitted the TT arms which makes sense now.

312mm splash guards have now been ordered and should be fitted next week. Not a huge fail though as the old ball joints were a bit loose

Plates arrived last week and the last few bits of admin have been done so they can now live on the car

I've also been playing about with the TT interior light and finished the loom for it last night and just finished fitting it in the car

LEDs fitted

loom soldered

and fitted, it was a bit of a squeeze but a bit of the old brute force and it's in, not sure if it will ever come out though

and button backlights and LED mood lighting all operational

Next up is getting the water/meth kit fitted, want it done before Inters really

Bought myself a set of immo3 clocks for the grand total of £19 so they will be my modified set along with MTE and illuminated needles, and a colour change from blue to....?

Just on the search for some Bora sport foils, needles and rings to finish them off now

Have you changed arb bushes. These can cause a rattle like sound/feeling.
