Superb attention to detail as always Blue.

The glass, is it Chromalux? Looks green rather than goldish? or is it just the pic?

Some of the 'Chromalux' is marked 'Siglachrom' by the way. Both types of marking on the glass were fitted to ED1.

US spec 3rd brake light spoiler. Took a very long time to find as its a 1 year only item.

Also some mint Sebrings with tyres



The idea with this car was to keep costs down to a minimum and an expensive engine conversion to be the last thing on the list.

CTN box will be terrible with your engine as you'll be in 4th gear before you hit 50.  All you need is the 5th gear, and you need to contact Hotgolf on ClubGTI for that.

thank you Tomp. G60 conversion. Will be painting the bay and going through the complete engine.

Lewy. Read and heard mixed reviews. Some say it's fine, others say its not. Will investigate further just to be sure now.

How have I missed this thread, I've now found my favourite ml2 that is bloody awesome.

CTN should be ok up to around 200 ish bhp. 65/68mm Pulley = 1ish bar boost.

Standard G60 box is VERY short on 1st, 2nd. It's a pain with a smaller pulley really, especially in the damp.

The longer 1,2, and 5 in the CTN is a bonus.

Interesting choice for a conversion!

How about building a 16v G60 ? Use the Bahn Brenner Kit? Not cheap though.
