Thanks guys. Not as tidy as the others in the show but I guess those dont get driven daily
Picked up a bonnet bra but not sure if I should fit it as I have heard/read mixed reviews.

Also stops better now. 280mm brake setup with new track rods, hubs, bearings, disks and pads and a new brake bios valve.
Had no problems with 15'' RM and 16'' RS clearance. Also no problems with thick brake pads so very happy with the setup

Some show pics

Mr Blue,

Please note I am no longer subscribing to this thread as I am green with envy somewhat jealous of your car.

Kind regards,

I don't think a semi will give the same results

  • I'm better than you today.
Very Nice.  Whats the paint code/colour you have used.  Seeing as my Royal Blue needs a respray as the paint is obsolete, might chose another blue.

Hello Rob. No I got those brand new from VW. It killed me drilling holes into my new genuine bumper skin but I like them. Not plummed in yet but when I do I will direct the jets towards the footpath

tucked look FTW. Not into the wide look any more

Ahh dont be. Come and see it in the flesh. You will change your mind. Its just a 70 mile-a-daily work hack now

Paint maybe obsolete but your local car paint supplier can mix it up. Royal blue looks amazing when fresh! Paint code is the original 'LP5U' Bright Blue Metallic

If I was to change the colour it would be Aubergine

I'm going to have to say it again too. I really love this car, wouldn't change a single thing. Amazing work.

Those washer jets are cool as too  - do you mind me asking how much they were from VW?

I'm a fooking idiot, mine had factory fitted jets but because the bumper was smashed up i binned it!
