Nice colour, liking the headlamp washers aswell

Let us know how good the boot vinyl is would you?

As promised. Boot Vinyl is spot on! I got it off 'brownstickers' via their ebay shop. The best quality ive come across (Textured)

excuse the mess

Looks superb

Random question but just out of curiosity, did you replace or reuse the foam gaskets for the rear numberplate lights? I'm after some new ones and they are now obsolete  :undecided:

Binned the whole units. I got new ones from GPC which come with gaskets. They are the best quality pattern plate lights ive seen. Call them identical.

Having a hard time finding other stuff from VW. Just had their last 5 sunroof screws

Hmmmn VAG parts could be sooo good business surely? Sounds like it's the perfect time to get this restored as a lot of the OEM parts are just drying up leaving pattern the only option. Looking immense tho. Finish looks immaculate. :afro:

Thanks all :)

Had a lot of wet sand marks in the paint when it came back from painters. (I got the car back early)

So re-sanded by hand-2000-2500-3000 grit used followed by some G3 and finished off with G10.

Painted up the grill slat too which was left at the painters

Finaly bolted everything back. Just ordered some sill vinyl that sits behind the plastic sill (stops the plastic from scratching the paint FYI)

Then on to the interior.

SLR pics soon
