Northern Ireland is shut Monday and Tuesday so looks like next Wednesday or Thursday before I get them

Once the coding has been done so the bulb out warning doesn't show, would it have to be undone if i changed back to the halogen set? Or wouldn't it matter? I'm askin cos if (when) i get a set, if i change my car i'd take them off and sell them on.

You need to set the hex value to 03 and then 00 to get it back to standard

Where are you and who are you using to do the coding??

I am in Dromore (Co. Down), doing the coding myself, I have a VCDS cable 

Lights now in Belfast, Consignee on Holiday

  need some help guys!!

Finally fitted my new LED lights and they look awesome. Been waiting for my mate to come around with VCDS hence the delay.

Tested the lights and all four sets were working fine, brakes working, fog, reverse and indicators all worked.
 
Next we went about the coding and set byte 18 to hex value of 04 but this didn't fix the errors. Tried coding as 05 but no joy and then tried 15. 15 removed the errors but now I have another problem.... both outer rear light clusters are now not working and neither is my nearside front side light!

My mate is relatively new using VCDS and doesn't really know how to fix this, if he even can?

We reset the coding back to 00 in the hope that this may fix the problem but no joy. 

Anyone got any suggestions?

I think setting it to 00 means no change.

Did you try setting it to 04 again.

Setting it to 03, then 00 should reset it back to the stock setting.

What errors where you getting on 04 coding?
