one last thing, do i fit the gasket dry or use a little engine oil to help seal it or use sealant?

Fit the gasket dry, just nip the bolts up.

cheers wayne, i will crack on with it 2morro whilst at work.
its a low miledge car 53k i think.

should be up for sale soon
