Alternator 65amp or 90amp?

gonna have to change my alternator, shuold it be 65 or 90 amps?

i know the GTi 16 valves normaly use a 65 amp, but as mine has the climate pack with A/C do i need the 90 amp?

Both will work ok, go for the bigger if you have it.

would you have to uprate the wiring from the alternator if you went for a higher ammperage? ???

Hmm, good question. If the wires and connections are in good knick, you should be ok.
