Just wondering if soimeone could help here one of my freinds got his car remapped but when it happened they lost the orginal map and the ecu is not talking to dash board or dash dials etc any help?

Sounds like the immobiliser kicking in
You can re-match the ECU to the clocks via VAGCOM - not sure how you do it though
Was it ok after the remap initially or has it been like this since the first moment?

Its been like that since it happened, vw quaoted that it needs a new dash which I think is wrong

If its been like that since the remap take it back and tell them to fix it, they broke it.
