Mk2 freebie mods
« on: 22 November 2004, 00:29 »
I was crusing home tonight pondering what can be done to the trusty (NOT rusty Sarah!) mk2's so I thought I'd add them to the list.

These mods can be done for free or for less than ?10. So here's my list so far...

1) lay the soding rear wiper flat. Cost... ?0  8)
2) single headlamp grill from CL... ?5
3) paint the calipers (not pink ;))... ?5
4) 16v beesting ariel... around ?5
5) Drill the airbox... ?0  8)
6) Uprate the headlight loom... ?10
7) Drill your discs... ?0
8) shorten your gearstick... ?0

Feel free to add your own boys and girls :)

If you shorten your gearstick, How do you get the gear knob back on top if you have cut away all the thread?
