If you remove it from the car then its easy as. Machine mart or any decent tool suppliers can provide you with the correct die to thread the gearstick.
Just take the gearstick down as a guide to make sure you get the correct pitch of thread.
And an uprated wiring loom is cheap as you like if you make it yourself.
all your doing is using the standard wiring as the switching feed for the relays, the new feed for the lights comes directly from the battery which should hopefully equal minimum voltage drop.
Also means you can higher wattage bulbs without the risk of burn outs and the backing shells for the lights are metal so they dont melt with the extra heat.
