it's a pikey fix but will the spring hold straight enough in the DV if you put the two flat ends of the spring back to back in the middle? maybe file a tiny bit off the snapped ends just to make it flat.

i've put two weak green springs in a forge back to back and they seemed to hold (gt35 running 30psi so don't try that at home!)

That's what I would do, get the biatches to replace the spring.

A good trick I learned once when I bought something and they would not play ball after I found it to be faulty is buy another item then contact them saying remember me. Either sort the issue with the item I have previously bought or I will leave negative feedback on the new item and not pay of course. Not a very nice thing to do but if they give you no choice its an option .

Person I did it to played along after that, I agreed if it got resolved I would leave feedback on the new item or agree to not complete the sale. Hope you get it sorted.

I think they are saying that just so you think ahhh fook it and replace the spring yourself. Take a picture of the spring and send it to them and ask what's there to fix ?

Failing that I would do as I mentioned and insist it's sorted asap.

Hope you get it sorted ;)

dont really want to send them the DV for certain reasons.. i have already taken a pic and sent it.. hopefuly they will just agree to send me a new spring.. also i have noticed that the o-ring which seals the bottom of the piston seems to be missing though it seems to seal well without it..

I would ask them to replace that too :D, Ebay is now very much in favour of buyers which is great if your a buyer but not so good if your a seller.
