So, got it all installed today. The pipe work is very good quality! Recommend it to any one that needs ultra flexy intake pipe, although its not cheap :(

I was looking to run it to the other wing. But as you can see, its a retarded length of pipe and I just couldnt find the room for the filter to sit.

So, this was the next best step. Its sheltered from the rain so, all i need to do is give it a little more protection from the wet. hopefully the filter is not too encased and wont be starved from air flow too much.

The best bit? Over fuelling solved. Lambda is reading at 0% which is bang on. Can't wait till its on the road and see how this software performs over stealth's MAFless setup.

Hint of intake through the front bumper:

Yes mate, r32 sump :) I do need to replace the hockey puck at the back though, the sump seems to be sitting a little  lower than it should be normally.

Filling up the real estate on my ipad :( Nothing too much to complain about at the moment, just need to find some funds to speed this up a little!

Annoyingly the car still needs a few things to be looked at and I am now waiting on other people :( new goal is to have it on the road for begging of April ready to rock and roll... Hopefully...

In the mean time i've been test fitting new boots. Still lots of work left to be done on these though to get them to the spec i need.

Thanks mate :)

So today has been fairly productive. I had Ken from Awesome Automotive come over and give my alarm the once over and install a new siren. Turns out a lot of the issues I had was because i was being a pillock and hadn't checked a lot of the the fuses from the alarm back out... So now my alarm is back to its former glory and the remote works again. Hurrah!

Also got my seat subframes back today. They spot on height wise for me and I still have the oem front and back movement too. So painted the subframes up (ignore the seat belts, they are not being used...)

Spent some time wiring up my replacement Aux pump to a switch on the dash also. Went to test it. The damn thing has only gone and seized again. So I'm screwing that whole thing off and replacing it with an elbow to by pass the pump completely.

The only issue is now I had the seats in, I could give it a little bit of a rolling test. The engine under load will not rev over 4K revs. Almost seams as if its cutting the fuelling which is odd... So i've dropped Matt at United Motorsport another email and hopefully once its on the road, he'll be the first person I see with it to get that issue resolved.

Hoping for an MOT mid next week

List is a lot smaller. Progress!

Might as well throw these in too since these wheels arn't particularly ground breaking and I'm not one to be holding back all my information just for the surprise at shows. Ground breaking isn't what I'm going for with this car. Very clean, crisp and quick is my over all goal. RS's are the obvious choice for a MK2 and once finally built they will sit right at home.

I actually bought the wheels all broken down, and they came with extra barrels and lips. i've sold what I didnt need (ended up being 2 barrels and 6 lips!) to fund brand new lips all round, a full mirror polish on those new lips thanks to Mike the polisher and a re-drill.

The re-drill these came with was a little unsettling! After many guiding words with Ryan from Prept he pointed me in the direction of a awesome guy that is able to weld in and create a flat back on the wheel. These are all I am waiting on at the moment for the wheels so as soon as I get them back I can show you some pictures of his work. Its pretty unreal what he is able to do with them!

Heres the state I got them in!

So sizes will be 8" up front, prox ET 11 and the rears will be 8.5". Ofsets on the rear I'm not sure on yet, they'll likely need around 15mm spacers I think. I was tempted to go up to 9's at the back but I really don't like massively chunky tyres at the back. they'll still sit well....hopefully...

Got the centres back from weld and re-drill.

Just need to dremel back the inner circle since its expanded during welding and the waffle plates dont sit completely flush any more. Other than that, just need to get them chemically stripped back, painted and built up.
