Good question. a lot of It I wouldnt be able to tell you. I went in with the idea of if it isnt necessary to run the engine, its going. Removed all reminance of any stray lighting looms, i.e the side repeaters are actually run with the engine loom on the VR. the whole radiator fan loom which is a massive chunk of wiring. Washer pump has been removed as the bottle is in the back, washer heaters - just dont need them as its a weekend car only now.

Lots of stuff mate. The only cables left are what I need to be able to run the engine.

Why not? Me and my old 5 door have been through a lot of things and means something  more to me than just a car now. Its got sentimental value for me, good and bad so have never thought about chopping it in just for the sake of loosing some doors. Plus its a little different.

Theres no two ways about it also. The VR is a lazy engine and I think the larger displacement engines suit the 5 doors more. Practicality with power.  If I had a 3 door id have no doubt i would be running a 20VT under the hood

Nothing from since the last update unfortunatly. Just not had the time for it the past week.

Hasnt stopped me spending money on it though haha. Got some large parts secured and things in the pipe line which has cost me a bomb. Il keep that for later. All asthetics wise, no performance, as I have other plans for that next year.

Hopefully will be the last day of welding this saturday or sunday. That means I can start preppin the bay for paint. Still a long way off yet, as Il be learning how to use filler/ how to sand/ paint as I go. Should be interesting. hopefully wont need too much filler either tbh!

Hopefully once the bay has been finished up with the welding, il be on a home stretch to just plough out the painting of the bay and engine.

More updates as they come :)
