What are the symptoms of your car that has led to believe you need your turbo cleaning out?
Just wanted to know so I can look out for tell tale signs.

Also couldn't you have got R-Tech to do it for you for a fee?

What is the actual process of cleaning the turbo anyway?

What is the actual process of cleaning the turbo anyway?

car in air ideally, disconnect down pipe from turbo, put cover in place, stick tube into cover and pump the cleaner into the turbo and leave for 30 minutes.

Every 5 minutes or so you wiggle the acutator to get the vanes moving and start cleaning

After 30 minutes drain the cleaner and repeat the process with the second stage cleaner

Then re-connect downpipe and test - job done

Yeah they did mine for me when I was last there

It should be a service item for sure at around every 40K - well worth the money :afro:

Rhyso's gotta be a bit further than that and he's down there weekly

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

135 miles each way, 2 hours drive there, 2 hours back - well worth the visit

One lad was there the other week from Aberdeen so you can't moan about how far it is
