1.8t possible turbo problem
« on: 29 March 2010, 19:07 »
hey guys . just got a newsouth performance boost gauge fitted on my 1.8t (aum) and am pretty unsure of the results . pre 3000 rpm it appears to be boosting around 9psi but as soon as it hits 3000rpm bam the boost drops to around 6 psi . ? any ideas ? Is does this in any gear ecu is standard and vagcom shows no faults. Any help or advice is much appreciated as i dont know anyone else with an aum engine to compare with

get some logs of blocks 115 and 118 with vagcom if you're concerned.. 6 - 7 psi held is normal.
