Lux Pack contains - folding mirrors and reverse activated kerb view adjustment on passenger side

Winter Pack contains - Headlight washers (pain in the arse), heated windscreen washer jets and low wash fluid warning light.

I cant remember if the heated seats came as standard on the GTI or with the winter pack, I think standard but not 100%.

FYI the smoking and convenience pack both came as standard on the GTI.

I don’t think the heated seats come as standard on a GTI, only on the ED30 and only on the standard GTI if you order the winter pack.

As for the lux pack, I have folding and heated wing mirrors, but the passenger side mirror doesn’t dip when I select reverse? I have the DSG gear box and rear parking sensors, so I don’t know if this affects anything? I did ask the dealer to fix this issue when the car went in for its DSG oil change, but when I came to collect it, the guy told me that it wasn’t possible on my car. I mentioned that I hade folding heated wing mirrors, and I thought that meant I had the lux pack, but he said I didn’t? So anyone got a clue as to why I have the folding heated wing mirrors but not the dipping passenger mirror when reversing?

Cos you have (like me) version 1, version 2 with dipping mirror only came in on model year 07 cars I think.

Let the fun begin........Red Gti, full colour coding, DSG, Xenons, Winter pack, Lux pack, Highline, Sat Nav, Sunroof, Leather, Milltek, ABT rear valance, Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics....pescaras :-)

with regards to washer fluid on the bonnet, it only washes the lights when you have your lights on, or on automatic mode, therefore just turn the automatic lights off when you go to wash your screen,
thats unless your driving at night of course

Or as I said, the much safer / better way would be to take the fuse out.

Wouldn't taking out the fuse throw up an error code?

Is your wing mirror knob adjuster rotated so it is pointing to the letter L on the dial? It needs to be set that way for the dipping to occur.
