its bolted to the pipe am replacing and the new pipe has no bolt holes what can i do? is it essential?

Pretty sure you need it. You'll have to find another way to mount it.

as for the sticky vnt question.. which is on another thread that i can't find right now, that's what the turbo cleaner is for. I'll get nick to check if the actuator rod is sticky when it goes up on the ramps.

I assume you bought a TIP as well then??  :huh:  Standard TIp is more than capable on a TDI mind.....

It's only clipped to that as it runs to the vacuum solenoids on the bulkhead - just leave it run over the top

never bought a tip did not think it was worth it.

what you mean just leave? just leave and not tie it up or do owt with it?

in the pic above the catch can is on the battery cover pu i carnt fit mine there so i have had to fix it to the air box and now am worried that it will rub and that the pipe to the catch can are sat on the fuel lines not pressing on it but concerned that they might rub and cause problem what you guys think 
placed it here in red


red bit is where i have mounted it yellow is exactly where bolted on

blue lines are the hose but if you look the go over fuel lines not sure if thats ok or will get hot and melt


pink bit is the pipe i have twisted round to the same kink but other side to let me have room for can but it now is a bit of a sharp bend.

opinons please advice and help anyone?

you're confused me now

the first pic you highlighted the vaccuum reservoir so I answered about the small vac line that runs to the bulkhead

which pipe are you actually referring to?  is it now the pipe highlighted in pink in your second picture or something completely different
