Lol no, I have almsot given up several times but end of the day a project is a project.

First head rebuild cost me £250 which was money down the drain..ended up buying a used large port head of ebay for £56 in unknown condition and rods and pistons from the same guy for £30 lol Fortunately the pistons and head were fine, one of the rods had spun so was knackered but that was all...obviously I didn't need the rods as I am stillusing my forged ones.

Cheers for the comment

Nice job mate, car looks really evil in the snow lol

As per a few people on ukmkivs, any part number on that heat shield behind the turbo? Looks a lot better than anything on the normal 1.8Ts. I've scanned through ETKA but can't find anything...

Its the one I pulled off the S3 mate, so if you have etka search under 1999 Audi S3...should be the one

Thanks for all the really nice comments, well appreciated!

Have you done a rolling launch using the R-Tech brake and boost settings which I added to your mapping?

I heard another tuner told you it could not be done??? PMSL.... They aint got a clue what I can do av they?.. :smug:   They are even telling members that launch control cannot be done with oem ecus and we are full of BS?   I cannot wait to get my AUM back on the rod, just placed an order for my new H-beam rods, when its back up and running I will be working on a 3 stage launch control using every limiter in the ecu..lol watch this space.

I will get your car on a dyno dynamic rolling road next week to finish the timing mapping and get a final power run...300bhp???
