Problem

Hi peeps, aint been on here for ages as have been travellin etc but need some help. My boost pipe keeps coming lose since had it tuned? Do I need to replace te pipe as fed up put lifting the clip, putting the pipe back on and do it all over again after a drive. Have the money just dont know what the hell to buy!

get a new boost hose, or some better clamps?

or do them up tighter?

the clip is standard, had a loop in the middle the lift it up, slide the pipe back in place as it only comes out 1/2 way so put it back in and clip auto goes back into place. the pipe has not spilt or anything just not holding into place

sounds like the lugs on the pipe are worn so you better off replacing it

**as well as replacing the pipe as rhys says more than likely the locating lugs are worn**

you can't unforntunately as the TDI's use the push clip system - there's not a jubilee clip in sight  :sad:

the part that keeps coming off is the one hiden under the TDI cover? where the oil part it.
