Wheel number 2 will hopefully be treated to primer over the weekend! I'm aiming to get it finished during the week, then i'm off work the week after so both others should be done by the end of that week

Do it! You still planning on heading back to The Doc's sometime before the RR day?

I'm looking forward to the wheels being done tbh, I think they'll look pretty good when fitted

I've not really been feeling much love for the car recently, however......

I have spent most of today flying around country lanes/over fells keeping tabs on 6 groups of kids doing their Duke of Edinburgh award and after a very 'spirited' 16 mile drive home along B roads I can safely say i'm feeling the love again! It may be an 8v barge but it can still put a smile on my face

So as a result today's progress has been limited, but here is what I managed to get done:

Rocker cover looking slightly better:

After today's progress on the wheel it now looks like this:

The face of the wheel is sanded to perfection, just need to sand the paint off the lip & mask it up. Then it will be ready for paint

My god, I was half way down the 2nd page! Been busy this week with non golf related things

One of which was treating a very poorly treated beemer to a machine polish:

The entire bodywork looked like this (worse in places!):

I think I removed about 75% of scratches and swirls but I didn't have a polish abrasive enough nor the time/patience to remove them all.

Finished:

Anyway, I today I managed to get the 2nd wheel sprayed up! Just needs a final coat of colour in the morning followed by lacquer and then the lip polished up nice and shiny

A quick pic as proof:
