Headlights already adjusted, retest booked for weds afternoon after the ball joint is being done

Other than that it had advisories for the front brake hoses not being attached to the suspension struts and for it having a 'temporary' fuel filler cap

Ah thats not bad is it...... should be fine on the retest then...  why the temp fuel cap, where did you original go?

Not a clue! Was missing when I got the car, it's got one of those universal jobbies in!

So spent a while braving the arctic conditions before in my snowboarding gear (minus boots and goggles) trying to sort out the alignment on my headlights. Because they are non-hella, made in Taiwan, pieces of crap, you have to remove the headlight to get to the adjuster

So after a while messing around taking the grille off and removing the lights, adjusting the beam putting them back in place to check etc etc I was finally happy with how they looked.

Then I fitted my lower glove box that arrived yesterday and had a look at the VR6 highline rear console thingy but decided I need a leather handbrake gaitor for it to fit.

Anyway I then went to take the car to the mechanic up the road who is replacing my ball joint in the morning in preparation for the MOT retest in the afternoon. So I got in, put the key in the ignition, turned it and the engine turns over very slowly and then gradually grinds to a halt

All my fiddling with the lights must have drained the battery and to make things worse I bent my key when pulling it out of the ignition in frustration

So battery is on charge over night and i'm going to have to get up extra early in the morning to get the car to the mechanic

Bloody cars eh!
