Loosing the rear spoiler helps keep the rear screen clean

I noticed a difference on my last hatch aswell.

  I must admit that i'm missing the rear wiper already, done well over 400 miles in the last 3 days and the amount of dirt that has built up is unbelievable! I keep pushing the wiper stalk and expecting it to clear

I put mine back on it was doing my head in to be honest  I would rather see out my back window,maybe ill take it off when the summer returns if Ive still got the car..

The spoiler looks better on the car IMO, but the whole thing about no spoiler means less dirt is true. If you saw the car perform at a wind tunnel you'd see a huge amount of turbulence in the rear screen with the spoiler on and without it you'd see the air flow over it smoothly with little turbulence.

That's the problem with motorsport though..

  I've adjusted to using my side mirrors a lot more now, so I can deal with it for the moment!

I managed to get a B at A-Level product design for a very poorly put together desk 

And i'm with you on the spoiler count, it does look better on (as long as all the other trim is still on), and it makes sense for the screen to keep clear with it off

Here's a pic of said desk, I braised the frame together myself and everything

The only problem is the thing is so bloody big that it has to be dismantled completely to get it through a door  :embarassed:



(note the pc on it's side due to the fan falling off the motherboard and now being balanced in place  )
