I've read countless times on here that the ride will be aweful and i'll regret buying cheap coilovers, however I completely disagree. I wouldn't go as far as saying the ride is great, but it's definately good and reasonably comfortable. For the money they're excellent!

Boy am i glad to hear that, mind you, different car but still, cant be any worse than the semi-siezed shocks mines on at the mo... might actually get round to doing mine soon.

People are too fussy that's the problem, and some of the 'older' members on here moan seeing as they are grumpy old men.  Cheap coilovers FTW.

Lets see, creaking all the time, car not level, no ride comfort at all plus people have had the fail within 6mths of fitting them.

Now then children....your bickering is worse than the primary school children I was teaching last week

Well a valid point is that they are not the best, i wouldnt normally buy a cheap setup, always bought bilstein or boge. times change, i havent got lots of spare cash and i just want to get my car on the road again.  when i get the chance and money to drive her seriously then maybe i will start spending the bucks. BTW, how old is older, i'm 32 in a couple of months!

  How old?!

At the end of the day i'm a big believer of 'you get what you pay for'. They are cheap coilovers so obviously are going to be nowhere near the quality of bigger brands like spax etc. However in my opinion, as far as value for money goes (for coilovers) they're unbeatable :afro:

Anyway, moving on from coilovers! As was mentioned earlier in my thread (I think!) I had me tracking/camber set then raised the rear of my car up a tad. I'm going to go get my tracking checked again now....any one want to guess whether it will be out and if so how much by??

not sure on an amount but since you had it setup right and have since only raised the rear a little, i dont think it will be much.

Well the nearside was +1.4 and the offside was -0.7 so not out by too much, but an adjustment was needed

Tax in a week

Other than that just little things for the meantime, some proper smoked fogs/indicators/side repeaters, pressed UK plates. Going on holiday in a couple of weeks and need spending money

well she's looking tidy now so if it doesnt need anything urgently then thats good! Boo to the TAX... i was really annoyed when they changed the laws on TAX exempt stuff because my car would have been exempt now if they left it alone!
