Haha, i'll probably do a 60/40 drop to begin with, but I get bored easily so i'll prob end up slamming it for a bit, but at 100mm there's no way i'd get on my drive!

Shameless bump to get me back onto the first page

Not much to update at the moment, got myself a new dizzy, cap & rotor arm as well as a new fan belt and power steering belt. Gonna be busy sorting that lot next week.

Driven 500 odd miles over the last 2 days and the car has ran beautifully, didn't miss a beat

Exhaust started blowing last week, so narrowed it down to the weld at the front of the back box. Picked up a tub of Gun Gum and bodged it up....or so I thought!

But then I hit an fairly small pot hole (but at quite a speed!) on the way home from work yesterday and this happened, must have jolted the car enough to break the seal completely

So the back box was bouncing around all over the place and it sounded sh!t!

So having already got a new stainless steel exhaust lined up I decided to try and botch this one up for a few more days! After failing to find any bits of pipe or sheet steel lying around I decided to hack one of my tail pipes to pieces:

The bit of pipe then went inside the broken section of the exhaust clamped together with jubilee clips and then covered in as much Gun Gum as I could get on!

Final result:

How's that for improvisation??!!

Exhaust still just about holding on

I've got a stainless steel one lined up that i'm gonna collect next week

Changed the power steering belt earlier, managed to get rid of the squeel that was driving me crazy!! Also changed the dizzy, runs a bit smoother but still having the 5000rpm problem. Looks like it is def a new camshaft sensor needed

I should get my summer bonus within the next few weeks so it'll be getting slammed fairly soon

Couple of pics of the exhaust as it sits currently, I find the second one quite funny
