Hiya, picked up my latest car this morning, its my 40th since 1984, and the paint code is LZ3N, is this Ruby Red Pearl??

In the service manual pack up (60K from new + every bill - main dealer) there is a flyer from VW saying it was one of the last 3000 cars, these being 1.8cl's or 8v GTis.  Limited run of colours too, lovely.  Its in the process of getting an Autowatch Cat1 alarm, then a Pioneer CD player tonight:

Looking good  . Is that slightly darker than chilli red then? (if that is a VW colour?)

Your car is almost identical to mine ? same age and miles.  Only difference mine is 3 door and mystic blue.

 I was wondering what they go for these days.
