Anyone tell me which red my car is, The code in the service book is..LY3D  
I think its flash red but am not sure as they've done quite a few over the years.

Brought mine from Wolsey VW in Sept, and wonderd wot the colour was, not even the dealer could tell me. I was told it was only a special order (Its a R plate Mk3 8v). Is this right? Cant see it in any of the books

rich - the dealer can't tell you what colour it is?    what is the code on the sticker in the boot?

the code is LZ3N, all the dealer could tell me was the order code was X9, and it was only a special order!

Rich if you go in halfords they have a book that will tell you what colour LZ3N is.

My Cab is Flash Red, I dont think yours is the same shade though.

That was the closest he could get. He looked a right tosser when he saw the car.
The dealer sold me a touch up, Nowhere near the shade.
Once again the forum comes out top!
