Hi

I was reading somewhere on this great forum that the sunroof can be programmed to close when told by the rain sensor...(after you left the car and leaving it accidentally open).........anybody knows where I can find that because I reckon I have to feed the dealer piecemeal the info....

If it is somehow possible please let me know where I can find it.......it will definitely improve my marriage... :lipsrsealed:

Oh and you so great a whizzkid....give me a clue where to find the cool "instrument-dial-rotation-check'" while you at it...

I think thats the Staging feature, I'd like to know how to turn that on too.

Darren has just activated that on mine (Rain closure)

He is the best person to speak to about that one
don't know how he did it ? he lost me when he turned his laptop on

Asked him to do the thing with the needles where they both shoot round together when starting the car but it would not take for some reason

I am certainly not lazy but even after reading it a couple of times I still found it confusing....the best I come up with is byte 05 04 ....but I do not know for sure and I am not planning to ask the dealer the wrong things to do...

Are these Vagcom codes...

Hey Big Thanks.....

I will hand it over to the dealer although I am still puzzled by this sentence: "....the roof will close automatically AFTER 24 HOURS..."
By that time I can probably swim towards my car

BTW
you didn't accidentally come across the code to install that cool "dubble dial test" (from 0-280 and back again) when you start your engine......

Good evening Erik:
You can find it in Germany, and it will definitely improve your marriage!
How lazy are we getting? Do you not want to remember things?
Soon you will be asking us who your wife is, etc etc.
I wish I had ordered a sunroof. Even when it is closed one can hear the wind rushing over one's head. Keeps one in touch with nature!

...a sunroof is a blessing...if you are tired of hearing the birds you can concentrate on your engine noise......best sound ever...

I drive nearly whole year through with an open roof so the risk of leaving it open increases....

My wife left it open on the MK V say 3 times when shortly afterwards it started raining....you will not believe how your car looks like the next morning....so an automatic roof-closing is nearly a must... :lipsrsealed:.

BTW...in the end I was glad that she left it open....it gave me no discussions when I ordered leather..........
