Brilliant, Steve!

I'm sorry, Egbert, but you do sometimes come across as deserving such responses. Your views are very different to most other people here.

I have the new PS3's fitted all round - they replaced the PS2 Exaltos which were fitted from the factory.

They seem much quieter than the exaltos and offer slightly better turn in confidence.

The Falkens at £65 were quickly dismissed (there were too many mixed reviews), I then toyed around with the Vreds, but the PS2's always got glowing reviews and it was the wet performance that impressed me the most with the Michelins, so I went for the PS3's even though they were around £40 a corner more expensive.

The PS3 tread pattern looks nothing special, but did anyone see the program last night on imported tyres with virtually identical tread pattern of premium brands, but with a 17m increase in stopping distances in the wet!

Yeah I saw that, Fake Britain? They were testing on a MK6.

Some shocking finding.

Well, I say I watched it. I was in a cafe having breakfast so was sort of watching it :D

Im not sure if it was the same program as he said last night, this thing I saw was on in the morning.

They also had an MKV R32 which had a fake service history which was bought on eBay and had 30k taken off the clock.

very interesting.

the guy at the end says to make sure you check the VIN matches the documents, but theres a whole segment at the beginning about cloning and how checking documents are faked, he never mentions this, so people who didnt see the beginning of the programme are none the wiser!
