I find the Mark 3 Golf pedals perfect Mate. Size 10's work a treat. I was given a BMW 316 by the father in law, kept it for an hour and the pedals were too close together, gave it him back as I could not drive it !!!!!     Cheers     Deano

Same boat (yes, yes) as you mate, hoof's feet I am told I have size 10, can't drive older Corsa's, I rev the nuts off it when I brake and hit the footwell when I accelerate so can only get 1/2 throttle.  :embarassed:

hahaha sounds perfect for me. but I have size 9 and i'm 6 ft 2" you know what they say about small feet....

Yes Mate....if you have small feet stick to little girly cars

So I don't unbalance the car when turning in. if you just down shift and brake you jerk the car and engine brake, if you heel toe you raise the rpm for the right gear and release the clutch so the car doesn't jerk and stays smooth. plus if you was to have a "dog box" you need to heel toe so you don't smash the gears.

go on you tube and watch a rally driver heel toe. they have to because they are side ways into a corner and need to keep it balanced.

Because Vin Diesel approves.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

Sadly, smooth driving doesn't make an understeering chariot like a Golf fast point to point...I find you need to trail brake to unbalance it, to get the rear to start to rotate in order to kill understeer. That's fastest for me.
Plus, the lighter the flywheel, the less the jerkiness when changing gear.

plus if you was to have a "dog box" you need to heel toe so you don't smash the gears.

If you have a non-synchromesh gearbox you may...if you have a dog' box you don't need to use the clutch once moving, just a lift of the throttle and a hard tug/push.

You see tham left foot braking for the same reasons.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.
