heel toe?
« on: 28 February 2010, 13:40 »
Do any of you heel toe? I know that you don't have to do it in these cars but I find the pedals really far apart and unable to heel toe. Or do I need to practice more?

i've tried in the mk3 but find the same as you - pedals are a bit far apart - but perhaps I'm not doing it right.

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

I find the Mark 3 Golf pedals perfect Mate. Size 10's work a treat. I was given a BMW 316 by the father in law, kept it for an hour and the pedals were too close together, gave it him back as I could not drive it !!!!!     Cheers     Deano

Same boat (yes, yes) as you mate, hoof's feet I am told I have size 10, can't drive older Corsa's, I rev the nuts off it when I brake and hit the footwell when I accelerate so can only get 1/2 throttle.  :embarassed:
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

I do it when driving making progress.

Size 9 shoe. It's just a question of how you position the feet. In the mk2 I had some "sport" pedals and that was perfect for heel toe downshifting, was so easy.
