Although I am one of the few who likes their monzas I also like the look of the VW Racing Alloys.

My car is deep black pearl so do you reckon these would look too much? they look great on NeilGTI car as it is red.  The company is holding the price at £1000 for the 4 but I don't want too buy them if they are gonna look the pits.

What do you guys think?

I think they would look the nuts on my Carbon Grey but would like to see some photos before I would spend that much money. Any photo shop pro's that can be of help would be fantastic.

Hi there

Try this www.volkswagenracing.co.uk the price is £1000 for the 4 but you will need to pre-order as they are sold out until the next batch come in around March/April.  You will then need tyres too so could be pricey though as you say on carbon grey could look fantastic.

I could do with some pics on a dark car eg black or blue.

Hi

Just noticed you are in Fort William, I lived in Spean Bridge from 1994 until 2002, loved the area and the great skiiing on Aonach.  Looks like there's been plenty of snow at  Nevis range this year too.

Yeah vwr racing is a great site but could end up costing you an arm and a leg, me? I think I will just go for the alloys if I can see what they look like on a black car.

Hope you are enjoying your car, great roads round you for giving the car some welly.

All the best

I was up skiing yesturday infact for the first time in years and it was rather good. The best season they've had in a long time. I haven't got my car yet. Expecting it next week hopefully and I think a wee blast down the Inverness road is in order and the Mallaig road is now fantastic since its been re-built so I'll head that way at some point aswell.

Down the side of Loch Linnhe through Glencoe over Rannoch stopping off at the Green Welly for a coffee and cake, through Crianlarich down Loch Lomondside to Helensburgh and back again.  Wow that would give the car a real work out.

You will have a real blast with it when you get the car just enjoy, it's a real cracker and worth all the hard earned readies.

Gizzy

By the way that run to Mallaig - awesome!!

Ah, but if you left the area in 2002 you maybe missed the updated version of the Fort William to Mallaig road. It's still twisty with plenty of sharp bends but once you go past the Arisaig turn off it is like a race track all the way into Mallaig. Big long straights with long sweeping corners. Had great drives on that road in my Alfa 147 then my Corsa VXR but the best to come in my GTI. Need to watch though because the old bill keep a keen eye on this area for the boy racers.

The VW Racing alloys would be a great help for this drive infact. (Thought I would mention the alloys in some way before I get hung for going off topic)
