A job lot!!!
Will look into it.
I wonder if James will be a GTi owner?

Think I already mentioned this.

I hated the leather on my mk5 and love the Jacara on my mk 6.

To those of you thinking about going for the part leather aftermarket thing, have you thought about your warranty and resale?
If it was a free VW option I may have considered it.
My old long dead mk1 would turn in its grave if it knew they were offering leather these days. (And dare I say it... Automatics)

 :lipsrsealed:

You know what? I tend to agree with you.
I'll search for James.
He is so popular today!

Yes I checked it out and  aftermarket leather done by/via the VW dealer means warrantee stays valid....I find that actually pretty normal  :lipsrsealed:

Resale is not affected by it (a bit uncertain with this if you are to choose a pinkish colour leather )..this I based on the fact that I experienced no difference in lease-figures..before/after....

Erik:
Just because I accidently blew you a kiss on another thread, you did not need to mention pink leather! :embarassed:
It is bad enough that I am getting a red car which could easily fade into a nice pink with time!
Now a rather poor sexual innuendo just for you: paint protection is like a condom especially for red paint.
I might even come to The Netherlands and get semi-leathered!

This thread is getting WEIRD...
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Good evening.
I really meant semi-lathered!
How ridiculous for them to think leather is a gay thing! They should be shot at dawn, all of them!
How dare they!
Anyway, your interior is also not full leather either, so it seems we are both in the same boat, sort of!
