thats really bad chris. the cheek of someone to even try is disgusting. glad to hear no real damage. there is always a debate about armour door plates. i think its been proven that they work.

Really sucks to hear that chris, there's a car theft every weekend around here seriously sucks.. although mine has never been targeted (probably because it's an obvious car and probably couldnt go over 15mph around this area :D) glad something good has come out of it though :)

You got lucky Chris they didn't prise those plates off it would have been butcherd big time!

One question I have no barrels on my 3dr its all keyless but the door handles are shody and loose can the rear door handles on a 5dr fit in the front? I thinks thats whats happened to mine and hence shody?

i believe 5 door rears can be used as keyless fronts, but not 100% sure. i kept locks in mine in case the alarm packs up (remote central locking).

make sure you dont buy cheap ebay rubbish, genuine front ones are £24 each from the dealers, minus the locks and the trims. i got some from the breakers tho

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Yeah mine are so loose you could pull them off, thats why with the recent breaking in's got me a tad worried mate
I'll go looking for some in breakers soon, but very hard to find any these days!
I hate the plastic shrouds on the handles they look like they are made from cheese!

Not letting thieves get me down so i've been busy today spraying some bits

Slam panel finally takes a coat or two of primer... needs a bit of wet&dry treatment on the top section before the whole lot gets satin blacked. The garage made an ideal spray booth! Oh and the dining table makes an excellent storage area

Headlight loom relay box was then plastic primed and received a coat of satin black (couldnt carry on any further as dog needed a walk... pfft!)

And this is the reason why i couldnt finish spraying:
