chucked on some cheapy 5mm wheel spacers today, as the rear wheels seem a bit too tucked away inside the arches.

a pain to fit as they keep falling out when trying to put the wheel back on :lipsrsealed: plus they havent made any great difference, so saving my pennies for some wider hubcentric spacers (approx £120 for 20mm)

new spacers:

in situ:

making sure bolts are long enough, should have got 10 mm spacers!! theres loads of thread!

fitted but not very inconspicuous

difference in stance, before:

some random 'in need of a clean' shots just for the hell of it:

oh and what colour should i paint my calipers? i was thinking bright green?

I don't think a semi will give the same results

oh and some more good news, after fitting the new lambda sensor and modifying the hole so enough of the probe was inside the exhuast, i now get 26.7 mpg rather than about 15mpg (worked out the old fashioned way) which was over an 80 mile trip with A-roads, city driving and traffic jams

Good work, I had a stud conversion before, made fitting wheels/spacers a doddle.

Just remember to put threadlock on them

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.
