Ok, first things first, Its not NOS its nitrous, NOS is a brand name, Just like Nitrous Express.
Secondly, If you have more than 20,000 miles on your motor, Forget it. Nitrous doesnt acctually cause damage to your motor unless somthings ready to break, If thats the case, It will speed up the damage process
Thirdly, If its a 16V its gonna take a LOT more work to get nitrous than you think, Its gonna have to be a direct port injection kit because of the macanical Injectors, Thats the most expencive kit avalable

Forth, You have to choose how to run it, Theres no big red button like on TV, If you want more than 25BHPs worth of power, Your gonna need a progressive Timing controler that regulates how much goes in, This costs yet more

Fifth a ?6000 nitrous kit including instalation...Not good, Expecially not for direct port, I know the Bespoke Nitrous boys and they would still charge me ?1300 including fitting for a standard kit and computer, You could be looking at around ?2000 for direct port. You DONOT want to go for cheap kits on this one, Nitrous its self isnt explosive, However the tanks are pressurised and can explode, If one of the pipes had a crack in it your gonna also freeze everything around the pipe which can cause extencive damage.
Nitrous isnt as easy as the movies make out, If you still want it, Theres a lot to take in, I think the owner of Bespoke spent about an hour telling me all the rules of nitrous and how it works, Also, on an older engine, If you still want to risk running it, DONOT put in more than 50BHP progressive, You will kill it, Simple, However if you have a 1.8T motor, You can put a straight non progressive burt right in at 100BHP
