I have cloth seats and the heated seats are very quick to warm up.

Great in this weather, usually have to trun the setting down after a few miles.

Me too.  I wonder if it's a leather versus cloth thing?  I tend to have to turn the heated seats down after about ten minutes - 15 at the most.

You have your heated seats on for 10-15 mins ?

I remember the heated leather seats in my Mk3 VR6 used to take a good 10mins to get up to full heat.  Once there though, they were very toasted-arse warm, and I would have to turn them off after 20-30 minutes.  When my Mk6 turns up i'll be able to do a comparison!

Never had heated seats, but I fail to see the point.  Takes 10 mins to get up to temperature, by which time the car's heating system will have warmed up anyway...  bad for sperm count as well.  On the plus side at least it means you lot won't be proceating!

Has there been any conclusive proof to support that anyway?  All i've found is that a heated car seat "could" lower sperm count by about 0.90 percent.  What is a plus side though, is that heated seats are awesome for back pain.  I twisted my pelvis a few years back and I'm always suffering.  So sod the kids, as long as my back pain gets a good warming!

Anyway, if me and the mrs have kids, we'd have to give up our sports cars.  (she's got a 2007 Cooper S)
