It HAS to be people who don't understand this simple instruction, "Keep left unless overtaking"

FFS - it's easy to read and very simple to understand, and still you get dozzy to55ers sitting in lane 2 and 3 with nothing in lane 1!!!! It makes my blood boil.

The sooner they allow undertaking the better. Don't get me wrong I am totally opposed to lane weaving, but having to move from lane 1 to lane 3 to overtake someone in lane 2 who's been sat there for miles is just unesessary IMHO.

So true on my commute to work theres a dual carrageway that must run for a few miles people just sit in the right lane for as far as you can see! as they know they want to go right at the end of the carrageway (its not sign posted or says get in lane till quite near the end) while lane 1 is totally empty.
As i want to go left at the end of it, I was always one to never undertake but i just cause tailbacks if i don't. Its just been stupid in the past couple of year.

 Another vote for the lane hogs...there's definitely a basic lack of understanding by some drivers that anything other than the inside lane is for overtaking only, unless otherwise signed of course.
 
 I really don't like undertaking but sometimes it just has to be done

+1 for lane hogs.  What also seems to go in hand with that is tail gaters.  In my experience normally BMW or Merc drivers.  There you are, in the outside lane of the M25 for example, you're stuck behind someone, the inner lanes are full of traffic, and some moron decides to sit 4 foot off of your bumper at 70+mph in a vain attempt to make you pull out of the way.  Dangerous tossers.

Also people that drive with their fog lights on in normal visibility.

So many to choose from!
1. Those who drive 40 in 50/60 on a single carriageway and then 40 in 30 so you you can't (legaly) OT them!
2. "Can't be bothered to use indicators. I know when I'm going. So should you" group
3. Fog lamps all the time - "my car looks so much better with them on!"
4. Flashers when you OT them

The standard of motorway driving in the UK is very poor. It needs to form part of the driving test.
