Something that I just noticed driving back from the cinema.  A guy in an A6 with a consumer satnav, stuck bang smack in the middle of their windscreen.  Do people not realise that they have an object impairing their vision in the way?  Or are they just not that observant??!

My satnav gets suckered on the screen as far down in the far right of my windscreen as possible.

Mk6, 3dr, DSG, DBP.

...usually bang smack in the middle of the road, too.

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

1.People who pull up at the lights in the right turn lane. then cut across traffic to go to left hand lane. happens nearly everyday on my journey to work/college.

2.People who dont indicate when on a roundabout. idol idiots imo. flick of the wrist and makes it that much easier for others.

3.Those who pull out of junctions when your plodding along towards. so slow off the mark that u have to slam the brakes on. if they cant get up to speed quicker they shouldnt pull out!

4.People who drive at 20mph in a 30. yes some people should drive to what they are comfortable. but still it is annoying.

James Gould with a GTI.

Can you imagine it now ? sitting behind him at traffic lights, he signals to go right, then stops, decides he really wants to go left then signals to go left, then stops, cant make his mind up so shuvs on his hazards and pulls away with his handbreak on, then right at the death figures out he really wanted to go right all along.

you guys seen this?  top ten per some survey http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/news/default.asp?storyId=21515

1 Tailgating, 66 per cent
2 Failure to indicate, 62 per cent
3 Dangerous overtaking. 57 per cent
4 Jumping traffic lights, 35 per cent
5 Middle-lane hogging, 34 per cent
6 Dangerous late-braking, 31 per cent
7 Hesitant driving, 31 per cent
8 Undertaking, 30 per cent
9 Fast-lane hogging, 25 per cent
10 Being slow away from traffic lights, 21 per cent. [/li][/list]

Interesting that the higher rated ones I would classify as traits of more "assertive" drivers who believe themselves to be the "more competent" road user.  i.e. 1-4, 6 and 8.

From that I deduce that incompetent road users clearly make up the majority of people out of the roads which sounds about right!
